FIJI'S tourism industry is gearing to benefit from a preference by tourists to tie the proverbial knot in Fiji.
Fiji Islands and Hotel Association president Dixon Seeto said they were aware that people from around the world wanted to get married in an exotic destination such as Fiji and that is why some resorts were concentrating on this niche.
Pacnews reported that many Australian couples opted for offshore marriage ceremonies, bringing a dozen or more relatives and other guests with them.
